He later earned a degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. Dennis's foray into the real estate world began with purchasing a single duplex at the age of 30. Having discovered his passion, he joined the Minnesota Multi Housing Association (MHA) and enhanced his managerial skills through related coursework and experience. Five years into his journey, at 35, he acquired his real estate license. Immediately, he began assisting buyers and sellers in the ever-complex multifamily investment industry.
Amidst his tenure in investment brokerage, Dennis had the opportunity to explore numerous properties in the Twin Cities suburbs. Despite his exuberance, he was disheartened by the antiquated features and amenities that proved the apathetic attitudes of most management companies at the time.
